Pasig City General Hospital cited by DOH for outstanding management, operations
The Department of Health (DOH) Metro Manila Center for Health Development gave due recognition to the Pasig City General Hospital (PCGH) during the 2025 Healthy Hospital Awards.
According to PCGH OIC Dr. Alicia Santos, who received the award together with Planning Management Unit head Eirene Joy Aldave-Magatao, the facility won the Integrated Hospital Operations and Management Program Outstanding Award after achieving a 98 percent (Very Satisfactory) rating from the agency for its outstanding hospital management and operation.
PCGH also won the Excellence Award in Material Sustainability (Green Safe Health Facility Award) after achieving four out of five stars in the Green Viability Assessment.
"Ang parangal na ito ay patunay ng kanilang responsableng paggamit ng mga materyales at pagsusulong ng mga sustainable na gawain sa operasyon ng ospital (This award is a testament to their responsible use of materials and promotion of sustainable practices in hospital operations)," the city government said.
"Ang mga karangalang ito ay nagpapatunay na patuloy na isinasapuso ng PCGH ang misyon na maghatid ng dekalidad na serbisyong pangkalusugan para sa kapakanan at kaligtasan ng bawat Pasigueño. Mula sa pamahalaang lungsod ng Pasig, isang taos-pusong pagbati sa buong pamunuan ng PCGH at sa lahat ng kawani nito para sa walang-sawang paglilingkod (These honors prove that PCGH continues to take to heart its mission to deliver quality health services for the welfare and safety of every Pasig resident.
