The Government Financial Management Innovators Circle (GFMIC) Inc. awarded Danao with the Hall of Fame for Electronic New Government Accounting System (eNGAS) and Electronic Budget (eBudget) System User Entity Award.
GFMIC cited the city for facilitating the submission of financial statements, budget, and other reports free of material errors.
The organization commended Danao for submitting reports on or before the due date prescribed by the Commission on Audit (COA) for three consecutive years (2023 to 2025).
The city also received the Hall of Fame for eNGAS and eBudget System Grassroots Implementer Award for its commendable implementation of eNGAS and eBudget System down to its barangays.
The effective implementation was sustained for three consecutive years (2023 to 2025).
Danao was also awarded with the Outstanding eNGAS and eBudget System User Entity Award for its “remarkable use of eNGAS and eBudget System.”
