Fire hits DPWH office in Quezon City

A fire broke out at the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) office at NIA Rd. EDSA Barangay Pinyahan, Quezon City on Wednesday, Oct. 22. 

According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the fire was raised to 1st alarm at 12:50 p.m. and escalated to 2nd alarm at 12:51 p.m.

The blaze was raised to 3rd alarm at 12:56 p.m. and was declared under control at 1:34 p.m.

The firefighters were able to extinguish the fire at 1:49 p.m.
Probers are currently investigating the cause of the fire and damage to property.
