Santos apologized for the incident that saw him punch Bringas to the face in retaliation and offered to help on the medical expenses of the latter.
The Warriors forward sustained an eyelid wound and doctors are looking at possible vision and nose injuries.
MPBL commissioner Kenneth Duremdes and player agent Danny Espiritu have mediated in the talks between the two camps.
Santos, in a message forwarded by Basilan team manager Bernard Yang, said: “Only I can say is 'di na importante sa akin kung sino ang tama o mali, ang importante sa'kin kung ano gusto ng ating Panginoon at 'yun walang iba kundi ang magpakumbaba.”
However, other angles of the incident that made rounds on social media showed Bringas hitting Santos first while jockeying for position before the latter retaliated with an apparent punch to the face.
Santos was ejected during the game which Basilan won 116-112 in double overtime to force a deciding Game 3.
