Palace on Recto's resignation: Not true

Malacañang dismissed rumors that Department of Finance Secretary Ralph Recto stepped down from his post.
"Not true," Palace Press Officer and Communications Undersecretary Claire Castro said on Tuesday, Oct. 21.
Castro said this when asked if there was truth to the rumors.

Meanwhile, the Palace official announced that President Marcos has named Scientist Gay Jane Perez as the officer-in-charge of the Philippine Space Agency (PhilSA).
Perez's designation came after the resignation of Director General Joel Marciano Jr.
She is a faculty member of the Institute of Environmental Science and Meteorology at the University of the Philippines-Diliman.
Perez is the first Filipino recipient of the ASEAN-US Science Prize for Women for her pioneering work in satellite remote sensing and environmental monitoring.
