Pasig City's seniors get free health services this month
Hundreds of senior citizens in Pasig City received free healthcare services from the city government through its Office of Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) in celebration of Senior Citizens' Month on Saturday, Oct. 18.

According to OSCA, the Senior Citizens' Month celebration aimed to recognize the contributions of senior citizens, promote their well-being, and encourage intergenerational programs and support systems.
The event was attended by Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto, Vice Mayor Dodot Jaworski, Congressman Roman Romulo, and other city councilors as they delivered their message of support and appreciation for the elderly of Pasig.
Held at the Rizal High School, the program featured numerous medical screenings for seniors, including free eye-checkups, pneumococcal and flu vaccinations, medical consultation, as well as simple memory screening and sleep assessment.
Sports activities, games, and raffles, were also set up for the seniors.
A Zumba marathon was also held during the event as well as a live band performance.
