Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the city government is giving delinquent real property taxpayers until July 5, 2026 to settle their obligations.
Rubiano said the City Treasurer’s Office under Emil Tecson is offering the tax amnesty under Republic Act No. 12002 or the Real Property Valuation and Assessment Reform Act and the City Ordinance No. 09-07 S. 2025.
She said the initiative aims to provide financial relief to property owners and encourage voluntary payment of long-overdue taxes while boosting the city’s local revenue collection.
The mayor added that the tax amnesty is also the city government's way of helping Pasayeños to make it easier for them to comply with their obligations and support the city’s development programs.
Rubiano said the City Treasurer’s Office is also open on October 18, 25, and 31 to encourage residents to pay their real property taxes and enjoy the 15 percent discount.
She said those who will be paying their real property taxes starting in November will only enjoy a 10 percent discount.
