Lakandula Elementary roofing project in Tondo to be completed by December

Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso announced that the ground roofing project at Lakandula Elementary School is on track to be completed by December.

The structure, described as a symbol of hope, protection, and dreams, is set to provide students with a safer, more conducive environment for learning and growth.

Domagoso personally shared the update during a visit to the school, where he was warmly welcomed by students, teachers, and barangay officials.

He was joined by District 2 Councilors Darwin “Awi” Sia, John Christopher “Bolong” Sy, and Edward Tan, along with Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Nerissa Roxas-Lomeda and School Principal Romencio L. Rubio.

The mayor added that the roofing project forms part of the city's commitment to improving public school infrastructure, ensuring that every Batang Maynila has a safe space to dream and succeed.
