A male pilot and his female passenger were killed in a plane crash on Saturday in Concepcion, Tarlac.
They were taken to a hospital in Concepcion where they were declared dead.
Police said the victims were in their late teens and residents of Pampanga.
The ultralight aircraft crashed in a rice field and was erratically circling the area before it went down.
Investigation is ongoing.
Meanwhile, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) on Saturday grounded the operations of the aircraft owner.
CAAP Director General Raul del Rosario said acting Transportation Giovanni Secretary Lopez ordered the immediate conduct of a safety and operations audit to assess the airworthiness of the aircraft and the operator’s compliance with aviation safety standards.
