PDEA: P88.54 B worth of illegal drugs, lab equipment, chemicals seized under PBBM administration

A total of P88.54 billion worth of illegal drugs, laboratory equipment and controlled precursors and essential chemicals (CPEC) were seized so far under the administration of President Marcos, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said.
In the latest "The Numbers of the National Anti-Drug Campaign" report, the PDEA said that 11,837.59 kilograms (kgs) of shabu,103.51 kgs of cocaine, 7,796.59 kgs of marijuana and 145,023 pieces of ecstasy were confiscated from July 1, 2022 up to Sept. 30, 2025.
The PDEA report also indicated that 10,631 high-value targets (HVTs) were arrested in 127,417 anti-drug operations conducted in the said period by the various government authorities nationwide.
During the anti-drug operations, government authorities dismantled 1,621 drug dens and five clandestine laboratories.
With the government’s relentless anti-drug operations, the PDEA noted that 29,677 barangays are now drug-cleared from 2017 to Sept.30, 2025 with only 5,815 barangays remaining drug affected.
A drug-cleared barangay refers to a village that was previously classified as drug-affected and underwent a barangay drug clearing program.
The status of the concerned barangays will be declared as "cleared" by the Regional Oversight Committee on Barangay Drug Clearing (ROCBDC).
The PDEA also disclosed that a total of 170,535 drug personalities were nabbed so far during the Marcos administration.
