After six years, NM was fired from Workplace 1. He moved to Workplace 2 but was let go after three years due to program changes. Moving on to Workplace 3, the same thing happened. That stint lasted four years.
At Workplace 4, something unexpected occurred. The company already had established programs and personalities that made the workplace enjoyable. However, months after assuming his position, NM’s tenure resulted in the dismissal of several seasoned employees—employees whose track records and popularity had long contributed to the workplace’s success.
Just like that, NM’s alleged management style led to a wave of resignations. Many left because they were unhappy with his micromanagement. Was he envious of the success of those seasoned employees? Did personal differences clash with those who chose to leave?

As things usually go, public sympathy tends to favor the one who keeps silent despite being left behind. The party who abruptly walks away often finds it difficult to erase from the public’s mind what has been done.
