Netizens are buzzing about Daniel Padilla’s rumored romance with “Incognito” co-star Kaila Estrada.

Talk started with the two being spotted hanging out several times.

Adding to the speculation is Daniel’s response to questions about it as gleamed in a recent “Are You G?” interview for TFC.

Asked point-blank if he’s in a relationship, Daniel only laughed and dodged the question with his signature charm.

Still, fans couldn’t help but read between the lines when Daniel added, “Huwag nating i-pressure ‘yung sarili natin, huwag na nating ilagay sa ganu’n, (na) i-showbiz pa..."

His seeming insistence that he doesn’t want his personal life to be “showbiz,” especially after his high-profile breakup with Kathryn Bernardo, only fueled speculation that something romantic is indeed brewing between him and Kaila.

Daniel emphasized, “Lalabas at lalabas, pero ayoko lang na may naghihintay na... alam mo ‘yun? Huwag na. Hayaan na nating mangyari ang mga mangyayari.”

Pressed further if he’s happy these days, Daniel smiled, “Paano ako hindi magiging masaya eh galing lang kami sa isang masayang concert, nandito ako ngayon sa Korea with my family, my friends, celebrating life, getting an award… so anong rason para maging malungkot?”

The actor recently bagged the Outstanding Asian Star award at the 2025 Seoul International Drama Awards.

Yet it’s his glowing demeanor, not just his trophy, that has fans convinced love might indeed be in the air.

That Daniel, 30, also admitted in the same interview that he’s starting to think seriously about his future — including settling down and building a family, added to the buzz.

“Ramdam mo rin, di ba, na hindi ka na rin bata talaga... at lagi ko naman sinasabi, siyempre darating ‘yung panahon magpapamilya ka na...”

Naturally, that sparked curiosity about whether Kaila has a role in those future plans.
