Cops detain UV Express driver who hit motorcycles along Commonwealth

Authorities from the Quezon City Traffic Sector 5 have detained the UV Express driver involved in the collision that struck several motorcycles along Commonwealth Avenue westbound on Friday, Oct. 17.
Traffic Sector 5 operatives said the driver was immediately taken into custody following the incident, which occurred near Diliman Doctors Hospital.
As of this writing, the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) has yet to release additional details about the crash.
An investigation is underway to determine its cause.
