The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has officially released the results of the October 2025 Physicians Licensure Examination, with 4,570 out of 5,900 examinees successfully passing the rigorous assessment conducted by the Board of Medicine.
The examination was held in multiple key cities nationwide, including the National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
Notably, the results for three examinees remain withheld pending final determinations: one for compliance with licensure rules and two for the submission of required documents.
The Board of Medicine overseeing the licensure exam includes Dr. Efren C. Laxamana as Chairman, and members Dr. Zenaida L. Antonio, Dr. Godofreda V. Dalmacion, Dr. Martha O. Nucum, Dr. Joanna V. Remo, and Dr. Prudencio Z. Sta. Lucia, Jr.
On October 16, the PRC said it released the results in just four working days from the last day of the examination, underscoring its commitment to efficiency and transparency.
Successful examinees can begin online registration for their Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration starting November 24, 2025, at www.prc.gov.ph
Required documents include a duly accomplished Oath Form (Panunumpa ng Propesyonal); notice of admission (for identification only); two passport-sized colored photos with white background and complete name tag; two sets of documentary stamps; and a short brown envelope.
All new physicians must personally register and sign the Roster of Registered Professionals, the PRC said. The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony will be announced in due course, the Commission added.
Top 10 examinees and performing schools
The October 2025 Physicians Licensure Examination results reflect the country’s growing pool of highly competent medical professionals, reinforcing the commitment of both the PRC and medical schools to excellence in Philippine healthcare education.

Kharam Baricaua Molbog of the University of Santo Tomas topped the latest Physicians Licensure Examination with an impressive 91.17 percent. He was followed closely by Eris Sto. Domingo Muñoz of the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center, who scored 90.67 percent, and Charles Jerome Reyes Bartolo of the University of the Philippines Manila with 90.25 percent.
Other high scorers included Jorel Franco Antone Navotas Tangpuz of Cebu Institute of Medicine (89.42 percent), Zairah De Leon Monjardin of Far Eastern University – Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation (89.22 percent), and Beatrice Hope Go Reyes of St. Luke’s Medical Center College of Medicine – William H. Quasha Memorial (89.22 percent).
Rounding out the top ten were Nathan Ross Baoy Bantayan (UP Manila, 89.17 percent), Judah Elijah Manticahon Cagas (West Visayas State University – La Paz, 89.08 percent), Johann Vincent Gan Lam (Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health, 89.08 percent), and Abigail Christine Dayata Sim (Cebu Institute of Medicine, 89.00 percent).
In terms of top-performing medical schools, Cebu Institute of Medicine achieved a 100 percent passing rate, followed by St. Luke’s Medical Center College of Medicine – William H. Quasha Memorial Inc. at 98.95 percent, and University of Cebu College of Medicine Foundation Inc., Mandaue at 98.39 percent.
Saint Paul University, Tuguegarao posted 98.18 percent, West Visayas State University – La Paz 96.91 percent, and Angeles University Foundation 96.61 percent. San Beda University followed with 95.65 percent, while Ateneo de Zamboanga University had 88.24 percent, Brokenshire College 87.93 percent, and Cagayan State University, Tuguegarao, recorded 85.71 percent, highlighting the consistent performance of leading institutions in the country’s medical education sector.
