De La Salle guard Kean Baclaan urged his fans to stop spreading hate toward University of the East star Wello Lingolingo after the unfortunate incident that led to his season-ending injury.
“Guys! Please wag nyo bash si Wello Lingolingo, sadya man or hindi kasama talaga yan sa larangan na ginagalawan namen,” said Baclaan.
Baclaan suffered a torn medial collateral ligament (MCL) on his right knee after he and Lingolingo fought for the ball during their game Wednesday, Oct. 16.
The 21-year-old guard said that he had already made peace with Lingolingo and is now turning his attention to recovery as he looks forward to a strong comeback.
“Okay na kami at nakapag usap na kami at nakahingi na siya ng pasensya saken,” Baclaan continued.
“Makaka-move on din ang lahat sa ngayon focus muna ko sa rehab ko and maka recover ng mas maayos at mas malakas,” he concluded.
Baclaan’s injury put La Salle’s bid in danger with the first round of eliminations coming to an end.
Lingolingo, on the other hand, was suspended for the next three games.
