Construction worker nabbed for statutory rape in Pangasinan

A construction worker, listed as the No. 2 wanted person in Parañaque City for the crime of statutory rape, was arrested on Oct. 15 in Pangasinan.

The Southern Police District said the suspect, identified as Jimboy, 23, was arrested at around 11:15 a.m. in Zambales-Pangasinan Road, Barangay Hermosa, Dasol, Pangasinan.

The SPD said members of the Parañaque City Police Warrant and Subpoena Section coordinated with the Regional Mobile Force Battalion I in Pangasinan for the arrest of Jimboy.

Jimboy was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Marie Grace Javier Ibay, of Parañaque City Regional Trial Court, Branch 194, with no bail recommended.

The suspect was immediately brought back to Parañaque City after his arrest and was detained at the police custodial facility.
