Chinese consul general visits Zamboanga City

CHINESE Consul General Zhao Xiuzhen receives a warm welcome from Zamboanga City officials led by Mayor Khymer Olaso.

Chinese Consul General Zhao Xiuzhen visited Zamboanga City on Tuesday, Oct. 14, to strengthen ties and assure the city of her country’s continued support.

She paid a courtesy call on Mayor Khymer Olaso and reiterated her admiration for the city and people for their warmth and hospitality to guests.

She invited city government employees to participate in training seminars in China on agriculture, food security, emergency response, poverty alleviation, and technology.

Olaso thanked her for the invitation and expressed optimism for renewed ties between Zamboanga City and China.

This is Zhao’s second visit to Zamboanga City.
