The Caloocan City government has ordered the suspension of classes and government work on Wednesday, Oct. 15, following multiple bomb threats reported in several schools in North and South Caloocan and at the Caloocan City Hall.
Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan directed the Caloocan City Police Station (CCPS) to heighten security measures and ensure the safety of students, personnel, and residents.
The suspension was implemented as a precautionary measure while authorities conduct inspections and investigations in the affected areas.
Police personnel have been deployed to verify the authenticity of the threats and identify those responsible.
The city government urged the public to remain calm and cooperate with authorities as security operations continue.
