3 children perish in QC fire

Three children died inside one of the houses engulfed by a fire on P. Florentino Street, Barangay Santo Domingo, Quezon City, on Tuesday, Oct. 14.

According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the victims were found on the second floor of their house. 

The fire was raised to the 1st alarm at 11:08 a.m. and escalated to the 2nd alarm at 11:26 a.m.  

It reached 3rd alarm at 11:32 a.m. and was declared under control at 12:18 p.m. 

Firefighters fully extinguished the fire at 1:08 p.m. 

A total of 15 houses were affected. 

Estimated property damage was pegged at P25,000.

The BFP is currently investigating the cause of the fire.
