Az Martinez on fame: 'Overwhelmed po ako'

Months after winning the first Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab edition, Kapuso actress Az Martinez admitted she is still not used to the attention she is getting from people.
Az shared this to us during her launch as the newest ambassador of "KSerene." 
"Honestly, paglabas ko pa lang ng bahay (PBB House), I was overwhelmed with all of the attention that I was getting. Everyone was looking at me, kung ano yung suot ko, kung ano yung ginagawa ko. So, there was a point that I felt like I needed to take care of myself," she said.
(Honestly, when I got out of the PBB house, I was overwhelmed with all the attention that I was getting. Everyone was looking at me, what I was wearing, what I was doing.)
Az also admitted that she now misses going out wearing a simple hoodie and not putting too much makeup.
But she makes an effort to keep her old routine, reasoning, "kasi ayoko naman mawala yung true self ko."
(I don't want to lose my true self. )
Az feels grateful to be the newest ambassador of "KSerene."
"I'm so grateful that Ms. Kaye chose me.  Honestly, I'm in love with her story of how she chose me. Because there are a lot of girls who can do it. I'm also grateful that she found the connection of being faithful. Because it's something that I really hold close to my heart. So it's nice that I was chosen because of that," she said.
She was personally handpicked by company owner Kaye Dioso for good reason.
Kaye related, "We wanted someone who's beautiful inside and out, and Az represents that, which is why we chose her."
