American singer-songwriter Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau have confirmed romantic rumors after being spotted displaying affection for one another, according to an exclusive report by the Daily Mail.

The two celebrities were photographed kissing on the upper deck of Katy's 24-meter yacht, the Caravelle. These images were reportedly taken by a passenger on a nearby whale-watching tour off the coast of California.

Katy, 40, was seen wearing a black swimsuit, while Justin, 53, appeared relaxed with his hand resting on her lower back. This sighting comes after Katy's recent tour, which grossed an impressive $80 million.

Speculation about a relationship between Katy and Justin began in July when the pair was seen having dinner at Le Violon restaurant in Montreal.

This marked the first public appearance that ignited romance rumors between the singer and the former political leader.

In July 2025, Katy and Orlando Bloom confirmed their breakup after seven years together in a joint statement. They are now focused on co-parenting their daughter, Daisy Dove.

In August 2023, Justin and his wife, Sophie Gregoire, announced that they are separating after 18 years of marriage.

Katy is known for her worldwide hits "I Kissed A Girl," "Hot N Cold," "California Gurls," "Teenage Dream," "Firework," "Last Friday Night," and "The One That Got Away," among others.
