Pasay City Police arrested two wanted persons for statutory rape and illegal possession of drugs during a back-to-back operation conducted e on Saturday, Oct. 11.
Pasay City Police Chief Col. Joselito De Sesto identified the suspects as Raniel, 36, a pedicab driver, and Kulas, 44.
According to the police report, Raniel, tagged as No. 2 most wanted person at Station Level, was nabbed at around 11:30 a.m. by personnel Maricaban Police Substation at Saint Francis Street, Barangay 179, Pasay City.
The suspect was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Jehan Batua Sampa-Hassiman, of Pasay City Family Court Branch 11, for statutory rape through sexual assault and with a recommended bail of P200,000.
While, Kulas, ranked as the No. 7 most wanted person for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002), was nabbed at around 11:40 a.m. at Pasadena Street corner F.B. Harrison Street, Pasay City.
The suspect was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Geoffrey Homoroc Llarena, of Pasay City Regional Trial Court Branch 112.
Judge Llarena recommended bail of P200,000 for violation of Section 11 and no bail recommended for the Section 5 charge.
