Las Piñas cops nab most wanted man for sexual assault in Batangas

A 38-year-old man, tagged as a most wanted person for sexual assault, was arrested by personnel of the Las Piñas City Police after being trailed in Batangas on Friday, Oct. 10.

Las Piñas City Police Station Chief Col. Sandro Tafalla identified the suspect as "Jaypee," listed as the no. 6 most wanted person. He was arrested at around 10 a.m. at Purok 3, Barangay Malagonlong in Lipa City,

Tafalla said the arrest was made in coordination with the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group–Anti-Organized Crime Unit (CIDG-AOUC).

The suspect was apprehended by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Pia Cristina B. Bersamin Embuscado of the Las Piñas City Regional Trial Court, Branch 198, with a recommended bail of P120,000.

Jaypee is temporarily detained under the custody of the CIDG-AOUC Custodial Facility.
