Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has announced the top 40 drivers who will advance to the quarterfinals of the 2025 TOYOTA GAZOO Racing (TGR) eSports GT Championship. The live quarterfinals and semifinals will be held at Ayala Malls Manila Bay on October 11 and 12.
More than 250 sim racers from across the country participated in the time trial round, which took place on the Gran Turismo 7 platform using the Toyota Supra RZ ’20 at the Suzuka East Short Course. The 40 fastest competitors, with lap times ranging from 56.272 to 57.340 seconds, have secured their place in the next stage of the competition.
From this group, the top 20 will move on to the semifinals on October 12. The top 10 from that round will then battle for the national title later in the day, with the winners earning the right to represent the Philippines at the TGR Asia eSports GT Championship.
Fans attending the live event can expect a full weekend of motorsport-themed attractions. Aside from the races, there will be sim racing rigs, interactive game booths, and official GR merchandise for sale. Toyota will also showcase the GR Yaris, GR Supra, and GR 86, along with the Vios and Tamaraw one-make race cars used in the 2025 TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Philippine Cup.
