Halloween is just around the corner, and we’ve found a great way to celebrate it.
This October, Ocean Park Hong Kong finds itself transformed into a spook-tacular venue featuring six haunted houses and various attractions that amp up the park’s Halloween festivities. Here are some of the activities and sights that we saw during our visit.

Haunted houses and performers that will make you scream
We almost lost our voices after screaming through the six haunted houses that were put up for Halloween Fest 2025. Each one has a special theme around the house. Among the six, H25:Rising Fear stands out for its grotesque displays and interactive elements that test your senses. The Hatred Box is also a fun experience, and even gives you a chance to win a blind box item. One fun bit from going through the haunted houses was encountering some Filipino performers who would surprise you in Tagalog once they recognized their fellow kababayan.
There are also several performances in various locations worth checking out. Come nighttime, you can watch a steamy K-pop dance performance, titled “Gangnam’s Devils,” at the Summit Plaza. Throughout the day, you’ll also find several costumed performers willing to give a good scare and pose for photos. To join in on the fun, we recommend coming to the park dressed up in simple Halloween costumes to feel right at home.

Extra cute pandas, spectacular fishies, and cool penguins
Aside from performances and rides, Ocean Park Hong Kong is known for also having a focus on environmental conservation. There are two panda enclosures where you can watch the loveable furballs just going about their day. You’re likely to see them either sleeping, eating, playing around, or just loafing around. At Polar Adventure, you can enter a chilling 8°C room where different species of penguins waddle around, either staring back at onlookers, marching as a group, or swimming around while waiting to be fed. Finally, there’s the Grand Aquarium, where you can marvel over many different species of fish. There’s also a restaurant where you can stop and enjoy Chinese cuisine with a view of the large aquarium.

There are pool areas where you can just relax and let the waves take you wherever, or if you prefer a slight thrill, there are several waterslides to choose from. Where to stay
To maximize your visit, we recommend staying at any of the two nearby hotels: Hong Kong Ocean Park Marriott Hotel and The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel Hong Kong. Both have spacious rooms and serve as ideal spots to rest after a long day of having fun. As with any Marriott Hotel branch, you can make the most of your stay if you’re a Club Marriott member for extra perks. Meanwhile, at the Fullerton, you can enjoy themed rooms for the kids to enjoy, or rooms that have a wonderful seascape view. Both also have stellar dining options to choose from to keep you full at all times.
Ocean Park Halloween Fest 2025 runs until Nov. 2, 2025. Tickets to Ocean Park Hong Kong are priced at HK$538 ( ₱4,013) for adults and HK$269 ( ₱2,006) for children aged three to 11.
