BACOLOD CITY – Police arrested a 40-year-old man in Barangay Azagra, Tanjay City, Negros Oriental on Tuesday for allegedly raping a deaf-mute girl multiple times.
The suspect, a resident of San Jose, Negros Oriental, faces four count of qualified rape with no bail recommended.
Police said the suspect is the brother of the live-in partner of the victim’s mother. The suspect was the ninth most wanted person in the Negros Island Region and No. 1 most wanted on the provincial and municipal levels.
