Is there a new "superhero" group in the House of Representatives?
SAGIP Party-list Rep. Paolo Marcoleta, Batangas 1st district Rep. Leandro Legarda Leviste, and former P3PWD Party-list nominee Rowena Guanzon are teasing a new clique or faction in the legislative chamber that's known for having"Young Guns" and "Hotshots".
Marcoleta, in a Facebook reel Wednesday, Oct. 8, teased forming a team with Leviste and Guanzon.
"Us getting ready to fight for good governance," read the annotation of the video. In it, a serious-faced Marcoleta flashed kung-fu moves a la Neo in The Matrix movies.
On the other hand, Leviste did some side-to-side stretching while Guanzon did her own version of shadow-boxing.
Following a cut-away, the three were shown walking casually in frame before all of them struck a pose together, "Power Rangers" style.
"#Fighting! with Cong. Lean Leviste and Atty. Bing Guanzon #goodvibes Thanks for the visit! Rowena Guanzon Lingkod Legarda Leviste," Marcoleta's tongue-in-cheek caption read.
Marcoleta, a neophyte congressman, is the son of Senator Rodante Marcoleta. Leviste is another neophyte, and is making his mark in the House on his stance on the flood control projects controversy.
Guanzon is a former Commission on Elections (Comelec) commissioner.
