Roxas, Isabela's most wanted for child abuse nabbed in Silang, Cavite

CAVITE – Authorities collared one of Roxas, Isabela’s most wanted persons for child abuse in Silang on Monday, Oct. 6.

Cavite Police Provincial Office (Cavite PPO) identified the suspect as alias Jeb-Jeb, a resident of Silang.

Operatives of Silang Municipal Police Station (MPS) nabbed the suspect in coordination with the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group Regional Task Force 2 - Regional Headquarters (CIDG RFU2-RHQ) and Roxas MPS.

Alias Jeb-Jeb was arrested by virtue of an arrest warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 23 in Roxas for two counts of child abuse, with a recommended bail of P200,000 per count.

The suspect is now under the custody of Silang MPS and will be turned over to the CIDG RFU2-RHQ for transport to the custody of Roxas MPS.

In a statement, Cavite PPO Acting Director Col. Ariel R. Red said the successful arrest of a most wanted person from another region was the result of effective coordination and the police's determination to enforce the law and deliver justice in all parts of the country.
