Quezon City bettor wins P223.5-M GrandLotto 6/55 jackpot in October 6 draw

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on Tuesday, October 7, announced that a lone bettor from Quezon City became an instant multi-millionaire after winning the P223,580,197.60 jackpot prize in Monday night’s GrandLotto 6/55 draw.
According to PCSO, the winning ticket was purchased in Barangay Mariana, Quezon City.
During the 9 p.m. draw on October 6, the bettor correctly guessed the winning combination 21-27-51-19-14-53.

The sole winner will take home the entire jackpot amount, subject to a 20-percent tax deduction under the TRAIN Law, PCSO said.
Aside from the jackpot winner, 26 bettors won P100,000 each for correctly guessing five out of six winning numbers, while 1,059 players took home P1,500 each for four correct numbers.

In the Megalotto 6/45 draw, the winning numbers were 45-26-18-38-17-40. There was no jackpot winner for the P9,713,362.40 prize. Four bettors won the second prize of P32,000 each.

For the 4D Lotto, the winning combination was 3-7-6-8. In the 3D Lotto (Swertres) game, the winning combination was 1-1-1, while the 2D Lotto had 05-24 as the winning numbers.
Claiming of prizes
Winners of prizes above P10,000 are advised to claim their winnings at the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong City. They must present two valid government-issued IDs along with the original winning ticket.
