Kenny Rogers Roasters marked its 30th anniversary not just by looking back on its journey, but by honoring the riders who have long been part of it.
In an event called “Kenny’s Rider Day,” held at the Roxas Boulevard branch, the brand recognized GrabFood delivery partners who bring its meals directly to customers’ doors. Thirty riders, each of whom also turns 30 this year, were chosen as honorees—linking their personal milestones with the restaurant chain’s own.
The celebration treated riders and their families to meals, games, and raffle prizes that included grocery packs, 25 kilos of rice, and gift certificates. The highlight was a grand prize of a brand-new motorcycle, a symbolic nod to helping riders take better care of themselves on the road.
“This celebration is our way of giving back to the riders who have always been part of our journey,” said Frederick Sy, president and CEO of Kenny Rogers Roasters. He credited the riders’ efforts for enabling the brand to reach more homes and families, calling them “everyday heroes.”
The activity ties into the brand’s “I Love Me Better” campaign, which emphasizes self-care and well-being. By celebrating its riders alongside its own anniversary, Kenny Rogers Roasters reinforced its message that every year of dedication is worth honoring.
