ILOILO CITY – A conglomerate of the Razon group’s power distribution services in the Visayas welcomed former Independent Electricity Market Operator of the Philippines (IEMOP) president and chief executive officer Atty. Richard Nethercott as new Corporate Chief Operations Officer (COO) of Primelectric Holdings Inc.

“With over five years of distinguished experience in overseeing the operations of the trading floor for Philippine electricity, Atty. Nethercott brings valuable expertise and leadership to our team," said Primelectric President and CEO Roel Castro.

Primelectric subsidiaries include MORE Electric and Power Corp. (MORE Power), which became the sole power distributor in Iloilo City in 2020, and also expanding in towns of Iloilo province; Negros Power – the joint venture of Primelectric Holdings Inc. and Central Negros Electric Cooperative (CENECO) – in Negros Island, and Bohol Light in Bohol.

Castro said Nethercott’s presence will strengthen their commitment to innovate the energy sector in the Visayas.
