LINGAYEN, Pangasinan – Police arrested 174 wanted persons in Central Luzon from Sept. 28 to Oct 4.
Police Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Peñones Jr., Police Regional Office-3 chief, said 191 suspected drug pushers were arrested in 129 anti-illegal operations. Seized from them were 633.714 grams of shabu valued at P4 million.
Forty-four loose firearms were surrendered and 25 violators were arrested.
Peñones cited operating units for their achievements.
“These weeklong accomplishments are proof of our relentless commitment to protect our communities and bring offenders to justice. Guided by our acting chief PNP, Police Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., PRO-3 will continue to step up operations against criminality, illegal drugs, and loose firearms to secure the peace and safety of the people of Central Luzon,” Peñones said.
The PRO-3 chief assured the public of intensified police operations to ensure a safer and more secure region.
