Top cops in Northern Mindanao, Mimaropa, Cagayan Valley replaced in latest PNP revamp
Three police generals were designated as police regional directors in Luzon in Mindanao in another revamp that also affected four more senior officers of the Philippine National Police (PNP).
Police Brig. Gen. Christopher Abrahano was named as the new regional director of Police Regional Office 10. Abrahano was former director of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG).
Police Brig. Gen. Jovencio Badua was named as the director of Police Regional Office 4B, or the MImaropa region while Police Brig. Gen. Antonio Marallag will take over the top post of the Police Regional Office 2 in Cagayan Valley.
Police Brig. Gen. Lou Evangelista was named as the new head of the Maritime Group while Brig. Gen. Ropy Parena will be moved to the Directorate for Research and Development (DRD).
Police Brig. Gen. Roel Rodolfo, who was replaced by Badua in Mimaropa, will take over a post at the Directorate for Logistics while Brig. Gen. Rolindo Suguilon will be transferred to Camp Crame in Quezon City from Northern Mindanao.
The revamp was approved by acting PNP chief Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez, Jr. and will take effect on Monday, Oct. 6.
