Security agency's operations manager, 2 others yield P2.1-M shabu in Rizal
Authorities confiscated around P2.1 million worth of shabu from three high-value individuals (HVIs), including an operations manager of a security agency and a security guard, during a buy-bust operation in Cainta, Rizal, on Saturday, Oct. 4.
The Rizal Police Provincial Office (Rizal PPO) identified the operations manager as “Khalef,” 46; the security guard as “Naser,” 53; and the other suspect as “Jam,” 45. They were all tagged as both users and pushers of illegal drugs.
They were arrested following the operation conducted by the Cainta Municipal Police Station, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Barangay San Isidro at around 1:25 a.m.
Confiscated from their possession were 320 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated value of P2,176,000, along with non-drug evidence and a vehicle.
The suspects are currently detained at the Cainta Custodial Facility and will face charges for violating Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
