DFSK has introduced the EC75, an all-electric commercial van designed to meet the growing demands of logistics and fleet operations in the Philippines. Positioned as a practical and sustainable transport option, the EC75 underscores the increasing shift toward electrification in the commercial vehicle sector.
The EC75 is engineered to carry substantial cargo while maintaining maneuverability on tight urban and regional routes. It offers a payload capacity of 1,200-kilograms and a cargo volume of 6.7-cubic meters. Measuring 5.1-meters in length, the van employs a MacPherson independent front suspension and a leaf spring rear suspension to handle heavy loads while providing a stable and smooth ride.
Powering the EC75 is a 50.38-kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, which delivers a driving range of up to 310-kilometers on a single charge. It features DC fast-charging capability that can recharge the battery from 20-percent to 80-percent in just 45-minutes. This combination of range and fast charging minimizes downtime for fleet operations and makes the vehicle suitable for both last-mile and regional deliveries. According to the official product page, the EC75 also has an AC charging option that reaches a full charge in around 8 hours, intended for overnight charging at depots.
Inside, the EC75 incorporates technology and driver-focused features more commonly found in passenger vehicles. The cabin includes a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, digital driver display, multi-function steering wheel, wireless phone charging, USB-C support, Bluetooth connectivity, and a cooled glove box for added comfort during long workdays.
Additionally, the EC75 offers vehicle-to-load (V2L) capability. This feature allows the van to supply power externally for tools, equipment, or emergency use, effectively transforming the vehicle into a mobile power source for businesses and field operations. This is a capability that expands the vehicle’s utility beyond transport duties, especially for industries requiring on-site power.
Safety systems have been prioritized equally. The EC75 includes adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, and lane-keeping assist. A 360-degree panoramic camera, parking sensors, ABS with EBD, hill hold control, traction control, and brake assist further support safe operation. These features address the challenges of high-traffic routes and help reduce risk for fleet operators.
The EC75 employs a front-wheel-drive layout with an electric motor producing approximately 82 PS of power and 200 Nm of torque, providing ample performance for hauling cargo while ensuring smooth operation in city traffic. Ground clearance is listed at 155 mm, making it capable of handling uneven roads common in urban and regional settings.
Priced at ₱1.45 million, the EC75 aims to offer fleet buyers long-term savings compared to traditional internal combustion vans. Reduced fuel expenses, government incentives for EV adoption, and lower maintenance requirements all enhance its appeal. DFSK supports the EC75 with a three-year or 100,000 km vehicle warranty and a six-year or 150,000 km battery warranty. Service support and parts availability are managed by QSJ Motors Philippines and its network of authorized dealers.
“The DFSK EC75 strikes the right balance between practical utility and long-term value for logistics-driven enterprises. It’s exactly the kind of solution our clients are looking for as they modernize their fleets,” said John Tovillo, Business Development Manager, QSJ Motors Philippines.
With its combination of cargo capacity, electric powertrain, advanced safety and connectivity features, and V2L external power capability, the DFSK EC75 is positioned as a strong contender for businesses seeking to modernize and future-proof their transport operations.
