Businessman mauled to death in Pangasinan

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan – A businessman was allegedly beaten to death by three brothers in Barangay Magtaquing, Bugallon, Pangasinan Saturday night.
Police identified the suspects as Robin, Rubie, and Leo.
Initial investigation said a neighbor and the victim Alfredo were having conversation at the gate of the victim’s when the suspects arrived allegedly under the influence of liquor.

The suspects shouted at the victim to get out. The victim was attacked as he was approaching them. Alfredo slumped  to the ground and he was stabbed by two of the suspects.

The suspects were pacified and the victim was taken to a hospital where he was declared dead.

Alfredo and the suspects had a misunderstanding in a wake before the incident.
The suspects fled but were arrested in a follow-up operation.
