A Lalamove rider was shot and killed by three unidentified men during a robbery and scuffle over a firearm in Pasay City.
Police Col. Joselito De Sesto, Pasay City Police chief, identified the victim as Marvin, 31. He sustained a gunshot wound to the head and was declared dead upon arrival at Pasay City General Hospital.
De Sesto said the incident happened at around 6:25 p.m. on BACI-II Street in Don Carlos Village, Barangay 190, Zone 20, Pasay City.
Based on the investigation conducted by the Pasay City Police Baclaran Substation, the victim tried to seize the suspects' firearm during the robbery but was shot in the head.
The city police chief added that through a CCTV footage from the crime scene, two of the three suspects have been identified, while the third remains unknown.
De Sesto said follow-up operations are underway to apprehend the suspects.
