More than two thousand residents from various villages in Bulacan waded through knee-deep floodwaters to participate in the prayer rally against corruption in the province on Saturday, Oct. 4.
From floodwaters, people proceeded and gathered in front of the new municipal hall of Balagtas to hold a prayer rally with the theme "Be Honest Tapat Dapat."
According to the residents of Balagtas, this is a part of their call against widespread corruption in the country.
They claim they were not deterred by the knee-deep flood; they waded through it and did not think of the discomfort they would get because they wanted to participate.
They said they are hoping and trusting that the Almighty will hear their prayer, and the concerned authorities will hear their voices.
