Yes boss! Adiong says House action on Marcos' SOS for Cebu will be swift

A ranking solon from Mindanao has guaranteed the House of Representatives' prompt response to President Marcos' call for emergency funds for the sake of earthquake victims in Cebu.
Deputy Majority Leader Lanao del Sur 1st district Rep. Zia Alonto Adiong acknowledged Friday, Oct. 3 that time was of the essence in these emergencies.
"We are with the people of Cebu in this time of crisis and the House of the People will heed the President's call to give Cebu the resources it needs to save lives and protect futures," he said.
"Kinakailangan ang agarang aksiyon at kasama ang Presidente agaran ang ating magiging tugon (Immediate action is needed, and with the President, our response will be immediate)," Adiong said.
"As someone who has experienced first hand the long-term suffering & lingering challenges brought by a calamity, we have to ensure that the assistance we provide commensurate the degree of destruction and ultimately heal the trauma of the Cebuanos from this deadly quake," he noted.
"We must move with urgency and compassion. Every day of delay is another day of suffering for the survivors. Government must show that no Filipino is left behind in times of disaster," Adiong further said.
