The success of the Viva One series Seducing Drake Palma continues. From being a Wattpad novel series with over 133 million reads, it has been successfully adapted into a weekly series on Viva One.
Since its premiere on the streaming platform in June 2025, Seducing Drake Palma has consistently stayed in the Top 10 Most Watched Series.
More and more viewers are getting hooked and falling in love with the story of Drake Palma and Alys Perez, as the series effectively brings their romantic journey to life. It has also expanded its fanbase, with audiences eagerly tuning in week after week.
Because of the series, more people have grown to love and follow its lead stars, Rabin Angeles and Angela Muji, popularly known as “RabGel.” With their natural on-screen chemistry, they quickly became one of the breakout love teams of 2025, continuously gaining support from fans both within and beyond the series.
During the media conference held at Viva Cafe in Araneta City, Rabin and Angela shared that they have become relaxed with each other after working together for three months on the series.
"Sa loob ng tatlong buwan na kasama ko sya sa work, naging magaan po sa akin at madali po siyang pakisamahan. (In the three months I've been working with him, he's become easier for me and easier to get along with)," said Angela.

Rabin said, "Sa tagal namin na magkatrabaho, mas kinikilig na ako sa kanya. Maganda na ang samahan namin. Kahit na ano'ng project namin may chemistry na kami. (The longer we've been working together, the more I've grown to like her. We've gotten along well. No matter what project we're on, we have chemistry.)"
Angela and Rabin shared a heartfelt moment as they unveiled the qualities in each other that they cherish most deeply.
"Ang gusto ko kay Angela sobrang maalaga yan. Talagang may pakialam sa akin. (What I like about Angela is that she's so caring. She really cares about me)," said Rabin.
Angela answered: "Ang gusto ko kay Rabin family-oriented siya and God-fearing. Sa lahat ng ginagawa niya, lagi niyang inuuna si God and his family. (What I like about Rabin is that he is family-oriented and God-fearing. In everything he does, he always puts God and his family first.)"
The series has themes about love and loyalty. The two stars weighed in on the program's theme.
"Between love and loyalty, ang pipiliin ko is love. If you love someone, loyalty comes next. It comes naturally. Kapag mahal mo ang isang tao, automatic loyal ka na sa kanya. Aanhin mo ang loyalty kung wala namang love. (Between love and loyalty, I would choose love. If you love someone, loyalty comes next. It comes naturally. When you love someone, you are automatically loyal to them. What's the point of loyalty if there is no love)," said Angela.

For his part, Rabin said, "Kapag love ko ang isang tao, automatic na loyal na rin ako sa kanya. (When I love someone, I'm automatically loyal to the person.)"
From the success of Seducing Drake Palma and the RabGel loveteam, the careers of Rabin Angeles and Angela Muji continue to rise. From back-to-back TV guestings, endorsements, and commercials, to major events, their remarkable growth in the industry has become evident.
One of these was the Vivarkada FanCon and Concert held at the Araneta Coliseum, where RabGel was among the loveteams that headlined and drew the anticipation of their fans.
Fans can expect even more from Rabin and Angela. The story of Drake and Alys will continue in Book 2 of the series, titled "Dating Alys Perez," which will also be released soon on Viva One.

An adaptation of the hit Korean fantasy-romance film originally led by Song Joong-ki and Park Bo-young, expect Rabin and Angela to bring romance to the big screen.

A Werewolf Boy is a story about a young woman who moves to the province and meets a mysterious young man who cannot speak and behaves like a wild creature. With her care, she strives to teach him how to live a normal life. And as they slowly grow closer, witness how they face the challenges of their differences.
A film by Crisanto B. Aquino, who also directed Seducing Drake Palma, witness Rabin and Angela as they bring new life to beloved characters, adding a Pinoy flavor and romance to a story that has already touched the hearts and captivated audiences. The supporting character and love triangle of “RabGel” in the series, Dylan Menor, who plays Tripp Marco Palma, is also gaining recognition. From being the third wheel in Seducing Drake Palma, he is now emerging as a promising young actor. He is also set to take on another major role – this time as the lead character in another highly anticipated Viva One series, Project Loki.
As the Seducing Drake Palma series comes to a close, Viva One, RabGel, and the entire cast extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who stayed with and supported the complex yet exciting and captivating love story of Drake and Alys.
