ISABELA readies relief items for 'Paolo' victims.
DAGUPAN CITY – The provincial government of Isabela is ready to serve families affected by typhoon “Paolo.”
Officials said there are 6,500 standby family food packs for affected families in case supplies from the national government or city and municipal local government units fall short.
Volunteers are repacking family food packs at the Isabela Capitol Compound in Ilagan City.
Villaverde Road
The Villaverde Road in Pangasinan is closed to close to motorists due to Paolo, San Nicolas Mayor Alicia Premicias-Enriquez said.
Motorists were advised to take the Umingan-Lupao Road as alternate route.
The advisory was issued in coordination with the Santa Fe LGU and the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office.
Coast Guard
The Coast Guard District Northeastern Luzon
has mobilized its Deployable Response Group to ensure rapid response and readiness for Paolo.Two teams were deployed to Cagayan and Aparri West and they will conduct pre-disaster risk assessment and provide immediate assistance.
The Coast Guard Station La Union conducted static display of assets and equipment in preparation for Paolo. This initiative highlights its operational readiness and capability to respond to emergencies.
