Police arrested a man and a woman, tagged as most wanted persons, in separate operations in Taguig City on Oct. 1.
At about 12:45 p.m., operatives from the Taguig police apprehended alias Nigel, 18, who was listed as the No. 5 most wanted person, in Queenie Ville, Barangay Ibayo-Tipas.
He was nabbed based on a warrant of arrest with no bail recommended issued by Presiding Judge Desiree Gertrude Orquiola-Moldez of Taguig Regional Trial Court Branch 163 for a case of rape.
At about 2:15 p.m., the same team arrested alias Roshyllyn, 27, listed as the No. 10 most wanted person, in Barangay Western Bicutan.
She was served a warrant of arrest for service of sentence for possession of illegal drugs under Republic Act 9165 ((Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
The arrest order was issued on July 11 by Acting Presiding Judge Jonathan Honorato Del Mar Lock of the Taguig Regional Trial Court Branch 267.
The two underwent medical examinations at Taguig-Pateros District Hospital before being taken into custody by the police.
Brig. Gen. Randy Arceo, acting district director of the Southern Police District, commended the arresting team.
