The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) announced on Wednesday, Oct. 1, that manhunt operations have been launched for the arrest of the remaining suspects in the killing of a House of Representatives employee last June.
The incident occurred on June 15 at around 2:55 p.m. inside Don Jose Heights Subdivision, Barangay Commonwealth, Quezon City.
According to QCPD Acting District Director PCOL Randy Glenn Silvio, police operatives have already arrested the alleged middleman and the alternate driver involved in the crime. Both are now in custody and facing charges in court.
Branch 91 of the Quezon City Regional Trial Court issued warrants of arrest for murder on September 24 against Alexis Jesus C. Cuchapin Jr., alias Alex; Ma. Theresa J. Requerme; Ignicris Escaño Pios, alias Christian; and Judy De Vera Rivera, alias Judy Calopez.
“We are determined to serve the warrant of arrest and bring all the accused before the bar of justice. QCPD will not stop until every person involved in this heinous crime is held accountable. Justice will be served for the victim and his family,” Silvio said..
