P1-M shabu seized in 3 Cavite buy-busts

All three suspects, including two high-value targets and one street-level individual, are now facing drug charges.

CAVITE – Authorities seized over P1 million worth of shabu in three drug buy-bust operations on Wednesday, Oct. 1.

In Dasmariñas City, a high-value suspect identified as alias Inday was arrested in an entrapment operation in Barangay Paliparan 3.

Confiscated from her possession were 80.10 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated price of P544,680.

In Barangay Datu Esmael, also in Dasmariñas City, another high-value individual identified as alias Be was caught in the act of selling illegal drugs.

The police confiscated 50 grams of white crystalline substance with a standard value of P340,000.

Authorities in General Mariano Alvarez, meanwhile, collared alias Joric, a street-level individual. Seized during the buy-bust operation were suspected shabu valued at P136,340 and a gun.

All arrested suspects are now under police custody and are facing drug charges.

In addition, alias Joric will also be charged for violating the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.

The pieces of evidence, meanwhile, were brought to the Provincial Forensic Unit in Imus City for laboratory examination.
