Caloocan LGU opens 'HOPE & PLAY' center for children with special needs

The Caloocan City government inaugurated the “HOPE & PLAY: A Pod for Every Ability,” a facility dedicated to addressing the needs of children with special needs.
According to the city's Public Information Office, the center was inaugurated on Monday, Sept. 29, and located at the 5th floor of Caloocan City Hall – South.
The center offers various services including psychoeducational screening and first-line interventions covering behavior management, learning support, sensorimotor regulation, and language stimulation.

It also provides parent and family education, guided home instruction, social integration programs, and a multidisciplinary referral system to ensure children receive comprehensive care and support.
The local government said the facility aims to give children with special needs the opportunity to be properly guided and supported while empowering families with the knowledge and tools to assist them.
The HOPE & PLAY center is open Mondays to Fridays, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
