Bohol wins big at the 1st Philippine Tourism Awards

The Province of Bohol has been recognized with the Philippine Tourism Excellence Award for Tourism Destination Province for 2025–2027 at the inaugural Philippine Tourism Awards.
Representing the Bohol Provincial Tourism Council chair, Governor Aris Aumentado, co-chair Atty. Lucas Nunag accepted the award last Sept. 8 at Okada Manila, a proud moment highlighting Bohol’s decades-long leadership in Philippine tourism.
Bohol was also named a finalist for the Eco-Tourism Destination award, with Loboc and Panglao earning finalist spots in the Best Tourism Destination (Municipality) and Best Dive Destination categories, respectively. In the same event, Lourdes Sultan received recognition as a Tourism Pillar Awardee for 2025.

Aumentado posted on his official Facebook page. “The provincial government remains steadfast in promoting sustainable tourism, protecting its environment, and supporting communities toward a shared and inclusive future.”
