New PRO-13 chief assumes post

CAMP COL. RAFAEL C. RODRIGUEZ, Butuan City – Police Brig. Gen. Christopher N. Abrahano is the new Police Regional Office-13 (Caraga) chief.

He replaced Police Brig. Gen. Alan Nazarro who retired.

PNP chief Police Gen. Rommel Francisco D. Marbil designated Abrahano to lead PRO-13 effective Jan. 9.

In his assumption message, Abrahano outlined his framework for crime prevention and law enforcement, focusing on preparation, prevention, and responsive action.

He emphasized that under his leadership, there would be no place for misfits, corrupt officers, or misconduct. Abrahano said that PRO-13 personnel must embody the values of knowledge, promptness, orderliness, and respect.

Abrahano, a member of the Philippine National Police Academy Kaagapay Class of 1996, was the head of the PNP-Aviation Security Group prior to his assignment to PRO-13.

“Gawin lang natin ang trabaho natin, ayon sa ating sinumpaang tungkulin,” he said.
