Man wanted for rape arrested in Pasay City

A 32-year-old man was arrested by members of the Pasay City Police Warrant and Subpoena Section for a rape case on Jan. 8.

The Southern Police District (SPD) identified the suspect as alias “Baba,” tagged as Top 7 wanted person under district and station level. He was nabbed at around 1:10 p.m. on Cadena de Amor St. in Pasay City.

Baba was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Jehan Batua Sampao-Hassiman of the Pasay Regional Trial Court Branch 11, Pasay City on August 15, 2023, with no recommended bail.

The police said the suspect was detained at the police custodial facility after his arrest.
