The HONOR X9c 5G is a phone that adapts to your needs. This is achieved by some clever engineering. One of the things that makes the HONOR X9c 5G drop-resistant is the polycarbonate back. I can understand how, upon first touch, you might think, “Ugh, plastic.” But, it is not just plastic, as HONOR had emphasized. It’s polycarbonate -- bendy and flexible. This material is responsible for its impressive drop resistant feature. It helps absorb shocks from all angles, distributing the impact across the phone minimizing the force.
The screen gets some big upgrade protections with what HONOR says is “Super Double Tempered Glass AGC DT star2 Plus”. I know it is a mouthful. Simply put, the screen is very tough. Apparently, this type of tempered glass is used in architecture, aquariums, and car windshields.
HONOR has promised the X9c has a drop height of two meters. So, that’s a bit higher than your typical pants pocket position.
Now that we’ve gotten most of the durability talk out of the way, let’s skim over its other features, such as peak brightness at 4,000 nits. Crazy as it sounds; but hey, this just means that at 4,000 nits, you can absolutely see your phone without glare under the bright sun.

This way the battery is preserved and not overworked, helping its longevity. HONOR is also taking pride that the X9c is capable of lasting over three days on a single charge. Of course that depends on the usage. Still, it’s great to know you don’t have to plug the X9c every single day. This too would also help in extending the phone’s longevity.
The HONOR X9c 5G feels like a new era for smartphones. It’s got a great specs sheet and impressive cameras. More importantly, it’s incredibly durable.
