2GO partnerships drive growth in 2024, setting stage for 2025 expansion

Logistics and maritime travel service provider 2GO Group, Inc. expects to see growth continue this year after a successful 2024 characterized by transformation and expansion.

"We are building on the solid foundation we established in 2024 to achieve even greater success in 2025," Frederic C. DyBuncio, 2GO president and chief executive officer, said in a statement.

In 2024, 2GO launched a comprehensive ship re-fleeting program, introducing modern vessels that increased cargo capacity by 35 percent, enhanced passenger comfort, and facilitated route expansions to Davao and General Santos City.

DyBuncio said this initiative underscored 2GO's commitment to providing improved services and connecting more businesses and communities across the country.

He added that the company also strengthened its retail network, particularly in the Visayas region, to promote increased trade within and beyond the area.

2GO's diverse offerings cater to a wide range of logistical needs, from less-than-container-load (LCL) temperature-controlled shipments to reliable package and parcel services.

Collaboration also played a role in 2GO's success last year. The company partnered with key organizations and events such as IRONMAN Philippines and the Department of Tourism, aligning itself with the Filipino Brand of Service.

It also teamed up with Cebu Pacific to improve cargo scanning processes for air forwarding.

DyBuncio said these initiatives demonstrated 2GO's dedication to driving economic activity, empowering local communities, and serving as a trusted partner in logistics and travel services.

Looking ahead, he said 2GO has ambitious plans for 2025, including further enhancements to shipping routes, expanded cold chain and ISO tank services to new destinations, and innovative logistics solutions for special projects and forwarding.

“With the support of our stakeholders and the dedication of our team, we are ready to tackle new challenges, seize opportunities, and continue delivering exceptional value to our customers and partners,” DyBuncio added.
